This was the second cake I got paid for. Cole loves Star Wars, especially the Jedi (Luke Skywalker) and Lightsabers. I made a marble cake (which he also requested) and covered it in buttercream icing. I used the Frozen Buttercream Transfer Method (thanks to
http://www.soggycheerios.com/archives/197 for the instructions) for Luke and the words (which are in the format Star Wars uses in the beginning of their movie). For Luke, I printed out a coloring book page online from
http://www.kidscolorpages.com/starwars.htm and then followed the FBTM. I also piped blue and green lightsabers for the border around the bottom of the cake and used edible shimmer powder in the appropriate colors for an "Illuminating" effect. He thought it was awesome and it fit in with his Star Wars themed party perfectly!
